St. Augustine, Florida
After exploring a number of possible locations, a final decision was made to build the Children’s Museum of St. Johns on a site surrounded on three sides by the waters and marshlands of the Matanzas and San Sebastian Rivers. This former landfill will now be repurposed and redesigned as Riberia Point – a new destination for family-friendly education and entertainment including the Children’s Museum, a public plaza with waterfront parks, and an aquarium. PLACE Alliance is providing Master Planning and Architectural Design services for the museum and adjacent plaza and parks. Renderings by studioJDK.
